Finger Sizers/Inserts/Rings for Hairstyling Shears

Scissor Finger Rings are colorful rings that fill the extra space in the finger hole of a stylist’s shear.

• If the finger holes of a shear are too big for a stylist’s hand, the hand will naturally cramp up as the stylist is cutting with her shears

• The finger rings help fill the extra finger hole space, therefore reducing unnecessary tension and fatigue in the hand

• The rings also allow the stylist to transfer more power down to the end of the blade.

• Finger sizers may need to be heated in order to become more flexible to fit in the finger holes, especially if the air is cooler. You can heat them up with a blow dyer or put them in a cup of water for a minute in the microwave. This allows you to also put the small size inside the large size. The sizers will cool and become hardened and then stay put inside your shears.
